Modern Farmhouse Design Spotlight

Modern farmhouse design is not going out of style anytime soon. This design style combines the comfortable, welcoming farmhouse style with modern touches. It draws on tradition but incorporates sophisticated, contemporary design elements like stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and sleek lighting.

This full-home renovation design embraces the modern farmhouse style that our client loves. The home is located on a spacious corner lot with the opportunity to better optimize the space.

A facelift on the façade will include an enlarged front porch so our clients can enjoy it more frequently. We will introduce board and batten paneling to the front wall and wood and stone columns to create warmth. By introducing these elements, we add character and charm to the house. The addition of a new metal roof over the front porch will finish the look and tie it to the existing roof.

The new design also includes modifying the side entrance, which currently looks like another main entrance. The door will be replaced to match the front door, sidelights will be eliminated, and wood columns will be added. These changes will bring consistency to the front of the house, while creating an obvious separation and designating it as a secondary entrance.

The master suite renovation includes pushing the master bathroom exterior wall to the unused balcony space, enlarging both the bathroom and closet. The interior is designed to embrace the modern farmhouse style.

A full modern farmhouse kitchen renovation is planned to achieve the look our client desires. White cabinetry paired with a neutral patterned backsplash feels fresh and fun. The island adds a pop of color balanced with neutral countertops throughout the space. Wood finishes paired with modern pendant lighting feels both grand and intimate.

Throughout the home all windows and doors will be replaced along with all floors.

Outside, the lanai area will be enlarged and raised. The new lanai will feature a gable roof with wood boards on the ceiling to bring warmth to the outdoor space. Pavers will be added on the side of the driveway for additional parking space.
